Phoenix Mills Q1 net profit up 2.77% at Rs 35.63 cr

The company reported a standalone net profit of Rs 35.63 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2019, as compared to Rs 34.67 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 2.77 percent. 




Net revenue of the company rose marginally by 3.71 percent at Rs 113.28 crore in the April-June quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 109.23 crore in the corresponding period last year. During the April-June quarter, operating expenses increased by 7.00 percent to Rs 43.24 crore from Rs 40.41 crore in the year ago period.

Other Income grew by 46.08 percent at Rs 4.85 crore versus (Jun'18 Rs 3.32 crore). Operating Profit surged by 1.77 percent to Rs 70.04 crore as against Rs 68.82 crore in the year-ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 1.87 percent in June quarter. Interest grew by 8.27 percent y-o-y to Rs 18.45 crore, while Taxation increased by 1.69 percent at Rs 10.21 crore (Jun'18 Rs 10.04 crore).
