Mercator posts Q4 net loss of Rs 281.70 cr

The company reported standalone net loss during the quarter stood at Rs 281.70 crore as compared to net loss of Rs 62.51 crore in the previous year quarter. 




Net revenue of the company declined substantially by 43.55 per cent at Rs 54.74 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 96.97 crore in the corresponding period last year. 

During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 17.16 per cent to Rs 115.17 crore from Rs 98.30 crore in year ago period.

Other Income dipped by 44.41 per cent at Rs 9.44 crore versus (Mar'18 Rs 16.98 crore). Operating Profit surged by 4443.61 per cent to Rs -60.43 crore as against Rs -1.33 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 7957.66 per cent in March quarter. 

Interest grew by 4.04 per cent y-o-y to Rs 26.50 crore, while Taxation decreased by 96.14 per cent at Rs 1.60 crore (Mar'18 Rs 41.47 crore).
